Bristorm LP and IVP

The Bristorm LP Fence comes in three different models, the LP 30, the LP 40 and the IVP. Each has been successfully impact-tested to BSI PAS 68 as a hostile vehicle mitigation fence, with a 2,500kg vehicle at varying speeds. Each model in the LP Fence line comprises a tensioned five-wire rope system in a weave configuration supported by “Z” cross-sectioned line posts and terminated at post & ground anchors. The length of each fence is infinite as long as the maximum distance between anchors is maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation manual. All tested to BSI PAS 68, the LP 40 and IVP models successfully halted a 2,500kg vehicle at 64kph (40mph), while the LP 30 stopped a 2,500kg vehicle at 48kph (30mph), achieving penetration ratings between 1.6 and 3.2m. This makes the system ideal for securing industrial sites requiring protection from lower to medium velocity attacks or accidental impact. For added protection and longevity the three different variations of the fence are all hot-dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 as standard. While the rope strands are zinc plated and HDPE coated as per EN 10264-2:2002 or EN 10244-2. Thicker coatings are available and we can also powder coat it to a specific finish on request. The system consists of the following: Ground anchor Line posts Fence posts (if required) Wire rope strands

Bristorm Bri-RISE Emergency Access Gate

Manually operated to eliminate the need for expensive hydraulics or to reduce the risk of electrical failure, these hostile vehicle mitigation gates are designed to offer access to authorised emergency vehicles only. Protect your site’s perimeter with the Bri-RISE Emergency Access Gate. Designed to integrate with the Bristorm Zero Fence, the Bri-RISE will complete any high-security perimeter line. The Bri-RISE has been impact-tested to both the international IWA 14-1 standard and the American ASTM F2656-15. Not only did the Bri-RISE Gate withstand a hit from a 7,200kg vehicle at 80kph (50mph), but also achieved less than a metre penetration. The Bri-RISE has been designed with a self-balancing arm, meaning that it can be easily operated by a single user, while also reducing the risk of injury. A catch post can also be supplied to lock the gate arm into the open position when not in use. Further innovation has followed the initial development of the gate, the Bri-RISE can now be integrated into any existing or new fence lines. As well as this, the rising arm can be fixed in position allowing the arm to bridge a gap where underground services may be present. This reduces cost and eliminates the need to disrupt on-site operations. The steelwork on the gate has been hot-dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 to give it added protection against corrosion and increase the longevity of the gate. We can also provide thicker coating and powder coating on client request.

Bristorm Swing Gate

The Bristorm Bri-Swing Gate is one of the highest-performing access gates on the market. Tested to IWA 14, the Bristorm Bri-Swing Gate was designed to restrict access football stadiums on match-days. Features Manually Operated – When locked in a closed position the manually operated swing gate will inhibit vehicular access from a nearby ring-road, ultimately stopping them from reaching fans and pedestrians near the stadium. With a maximum 8m clear span, large vehicles can still pass through so day-to-day operations aren’t disrupted. Shallow Foundation – The shallow footing means underground services aren’t disturbed making this a cost-effective yet reliable hostile vehicle mitigation solution for the public realm, suitably applied around stadiums, arenas and city centre events. The Bristorm Bri-Swing Gate can be utilised as a standalone security measure or can be integrated alongside alternative, existing or new fence lines. Impact Tested – Tested to the international impact test standard – rated to IWA 14-1 from both directions. The Bri-Swing Gate can withstand impact from a 7,200 kg vehicle travelling at 64 kph (40mph). The Bri-Swing Gate has a secure locking mechanism and can be installed left or right-handed; a two-gate arrangement is also possible to span across wide carriageways. For the fence line itself, see the Bristorm 30, 40 and 50 anti-vehicle fence range. Where an emergency access point is needed, see the Bri-RISE emergency access gate, and for short-term or event deployments, our temporary HVM gates.
