Building a better future for all of us
At Hill & Smith Infrastructure, we consider people, the planet and our purpose every step of the way. For us, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is just as important as meeting sales targets. We value our hardworking teams, providing outstanding health, safety and wellbeing solutions, and also go to great lengths to support local communities. And we take full responsibility for our environmental impact – proving our commitment with a pledge to achieving net zero across our operations by 2040.
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
Designed to ‘achieve a better and more sustainable future for all’, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were set as part of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. They aim to reduce climate change and poverty, and improve education, health and economic growth worldwide.

Some of the highlights were activities which included ‘Guess My Job’ and putting the children into groups to build the best marble run. The innovations witnessed that day were inspiring for all.
